Joe Johnson
PrincipalJoe has extensive experience in customer relationship management and product development across a broad range of B2C and B2B products in startups and Fortune 500 companies. With a focus on consumer behavior and a passion for quantitative methods, Joe uses data and analytics to draw deep consumer insights.
Prior to High Start Group, Joe led a team of strategists and analysts at the digital and direct marketing firm Digitas. He has spearheaded customer segmentation for XM Satellite Radio, developed online and offline strategy for several General Motors programs, and supported product development at Nestlé. Joe also has consulted pro bono to startups, including Blu Homes, a high-tech pre-fab homes builder, and Betterment.com, an online investment vehicle. Joe was co-founder and CMO of the clothing startup Smooth Maneuver.
Joe holds a BA in psychology from Harvard University and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan.
